Description

This half-day trip to Whakarewarewa, located in Auckland, is one of the geothermal wonders in New Zealand. One of the largest collections of natural wonders in the Southern Hemisphere is Te Puia Geothermal Valley, Rotorua and it houses the largest active geyser (Pohutu Geyser) in the world and more than 500 geothermal features.

Maori locals will gladly receive you after a picturesque three-hour journey on the way to Tauranga through the Bay of Plenty, starting with Auckland. Your experienced guide will take you on a 90 minute walk through the geothermal valley where you will be able to see bubbles of mud pools, vents in a state of steam and the native wildlife including the rare Kiwi bird.

Explore the Maori culture among the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, traditional weaving classes, detailed native carving, and a Maori hallowed Marae. This is one of those immersive experiences where it is possible to combine both the beauty of nature and the cultural background, which a person may need in order to have the New Zealand adventure that he/she is craving.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Group Tours: (Cancellation policy) Should you in the event, have booked a group tour and later decide to cancel the same, Any refund issued by Kiwi Premium Tours is at its sole discretion and may be subject to cancellation fees as specified below.

a. 7 -10 days before the date of the tour -25 percent off your ticket and any booking fees and charges.
b. 49 hours -6 days before the date of the tour - 50% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges. less than 48 hours will be billed 100 percent of ticket.

Cancellation policy (Private Tours) If, you have already booked a Private tour, you decide to cancel the same, Kiwi Premium Tours can refund your booking at their own discretion and in such an instance, you will be charged as follows, a cancellation fee:

a. 7 -10 days before the date of tour- 25% of your ticket plus booking fees and charges.
b. 73 hours -6 days before the date when the tour occurs - half of your ticket as well as the booking fees and charges. Less than 72 hours will incur 100 per cent of the ticket.

Reservations of all kinds, accommodation and third-party, are not refundable. Any cancellation may attract administration fees.
